Recycle your electronics
and help the environment

We make it easy to be WEEE compliant.

Each year in the UK, more than 1.2 million tonnes of electrical and electronic items are thrown away – 75% of which winds up in a landfills. This lead and toxins of this waste can contaminate soil and water.

That’s why Staples, under the UK’s Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) regulations, is making it easy for customers to recycle electronics. As part of the Distributor Take Back Scheme, we help customers find authorised local recycling points for all types of waste electrical goods.

To find a recycling point in your area, visit www.recycle-more.co.uk

Thank you for your help as we help the environment together.

Staples is WEEE compliant. Under the WEEE regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed – out wheeled bin symbol. Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
