Buying from Staples for the first time?

By Registering on our website you will create a username and password to log in to the site with. This gives you access to all our personalised services and you can then place your order.

How do I register a new account?

Click on Register. This will take you to a form where you will be required to fill in your details. Once registered, your username for the site will be the same as the email address specified during registration and enter the password you created to complete the log in process.

How do I log in to the site?

Click the login button and enter the username and password you generated during registration.

How do I modify my data?

Enter your username and password in the Login screen. Click the My Account menu and click on Manage My Account. Go to the My Preferences section and there you will be able to make the desired changes to your profile. For security reasons you must enter your password again to confirm the changes.

Can I use the same account for different delivery locations?

Each user is linked to a specific Invoice address, but you can select an alternative shipping address. This is done during the checkout process, click on Edit delivery address and then click again on Delivery Address List. In here you will find the option to create a new delivery address.

Is it safe to buy on Staples.co.uk?

What if I forget my password?

Go to the home page and click on Forgot your password?.
Enter your email; click on Continue and within minutes you will receive an email containing a link through which your password can be updated.

Change password by answering the Security Question.
Enter your email, answer the security question and then you can update your password.

Can I place orders for different companies with the same user account?

Each user is always linked to a specific Invoice address and a customer number. We recommend having a different user account for each business entity in order to avoid possible errors in billing and delivery locations.

Why do I need a Staples customer number?

Each person ordering for the first time is automatically assigned a customer number when placing an initial order. The customer number includes all the relevant customer data. This data is required to place an order. By quoting your customer number, we will be able to deal with any query or order placed swiftly and efficiently.

Quoting your customer number allows us to access your invoicing address, any alternative addresses for delivery, your payment type and the personal data you gave us when placing your first order. Customer numbers are non-transferrable. Staples are required to inform you in writing in the event of any changes.

I have more than one customer number. Does it matter which one I use?

We recommend using just one customer number and using it every time you contact Staples either by phone, fax or Internet. This simplifies the situation for our customer service team in all issues relating to orders, information, complaints, etc.

If for any reason you have two or more customer numbers (e.g. because you place orders for more than one company), we would ask you to ensure that you always use the appropriate number to avoid incorrect deliveries or invoices.
