Free next working day delivery on all orders over £36 inc VAT to UK Mainland addresses, below this value, a delivery charge of £3.48 applies.

Free two-working days delivery is also available to Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, UK Highlands & Islands and Isle of Man on all orders over £144 inc VAT, below this value, a delivery charge of £12 applies.

Order before 7pm and your package will be delivered on your scheduled delivery date between 8am and 6pm.

Please note:

  • For furniture orders, the delivery time can take up to 4 weeks, depending on the manufacturer.
  • We cannot deliver to PO Boxes and BFPO addresses.
  • Sometimes due to factors outside of our control we unfortunately cannot guarantee that all orders will be delivered the next working day.

Delivery Status

Once you have placed your order, If we have your email address, we will send you an Order Confirmation email when your order has been shipped from our warehouse (stock items only). The email contains a link so that you can track the delivery progress of your order. If you have not received your order by the morning of the day after the scheduled delivery date, then please contact Customer Services team on 0333 300 1334.

Furniture orders direct from suppliers

For some furniture item orders the delivery time is between 2 and 5 weeks, as the goods are delivered directly from the manufacturer's warehouse. Before delivery, the supplier will inform you of the delivery time for your furniture by phone or fax. Delivery to a ground floor is free of charge. If you require furniture assembly, please contact our Customer Service team for more information on 0333 300 1334. Please note that we are unable to deliver furniture outside of the UK mainland.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if my order has been placed and received?
When you submit an order online and complete the checkout, an order recap page will be displayed with the title ‘Your order has been submitted’ providing details of the order you have just placed, following this you will be sent an Order Acknowledgement email. Once your goods have been sent out for delivery you will also receive an Order Confirmation email containing a link where you can track your order.

What happens if I am not in to receive the order?
If the customer is not available to sign for the goods on the date the delivery is due, the driver will leave a calling card, stating the goods will be taken back to the depot and held there until the customer contacts them to arrange delivery. If a customer does not contact the depot within 3 - 5 days, the goods will be returned to sender.

What happens if I want to cancel or change my order?
In order for us to be able to offer you a next working day delivery service, this means in most cases your order will have already been processed, so unfortunately it is not possible to stop your order. However you can contact customer services on 0333 300 1334, we will look into the status of your order and see if we can cancel or change it before it leaves the warehouse. If we are unable to, then we suggest you do not accept the goods on delivery, but return them to the driver straight away. If delivery has already been accepted, please contact us and we will arrange for the goods to be collected.

What happens if there are problems with my order?
Should this be the case, you'll be informed by one of our Customer Service Team.

Can I track my delivery?
You can track your order using the link provided in your order confirmation email. If you have a staples web account and used this to place your order, you can also login and track your order from My Account > Order History.

Do you deliver goods abroad?
Staples.co.uk currently delivers within the UK mainland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. We have operations in many countries worldwide. See a full list of our international Online, Advantage and Retail coverage HERE.

Can I have the items delivered today?
Unfortunately we do not currently offer a same-day delivery service.
