Compact and ideal for everyday use, this Staples shredder gets any small shredding job done. The dark grey cross-cut shredder is a light duty shredder that can shred up to 6 sheets of 80gsm paper at a time, and can shred credit cards as well as staples. It shreds paper at 4.2 x 35mm and has a maximum continuous shredding time of 2 minutes before cooling off for 30 minutes. It has a maximum noise level of 72dB and offers a bin capacity of 9.3 litres. The energy-saving shredder does not waste electricity in standby mode and features an auto start/stop and an overheat light for added convenience. When I got this it was to replace an aging 3 sheet strip shredder & at the price couldn't be beaten.
However after having it for about 6 months and using it daily (normally just a bit of mail), the cutters have become clogged and it is exceptionally difficult to clear them.
Also its meant to be a 6 sheet shredder but struggles to do more than 4 sheets of 80gsm paper.

Easy to set up, use and clean. Shredded bits would be extremely laborious to reconstruct. Bin would probably be too small for daily business use but for personal use (e.g. shredding paperwork every few weeks) it is perfect.

This is an excellent piece of kit. Bought to replace one (different make/supplier) which "died". It seems more robust/well made & is at a very good price for the quality.
