Comments about Brother PT-90 Labelling Machine:
Very cheap for what it is but only suitable if you use very occasionally.Difficult to peel the backing off but that's a trivial problem.Many keystrokes needed to delete previous text before you can enter new one. That's annoying but not a show-stopper.The real problem is that 4 AAA batteries lasts for about a dozen labels. You get the "low battery" sign after printing the first one and then it stops printing after another 10 or so label prints.What this means is that this is NOT a handheld printer.

bought as replacement for brother p touch 85looks good and uses same tapes, if this lasts as long it will be an excellent replacent, not used enough yet to compare, no downsides yet found
