Good product

About Me Mid-range Shopper
Comments about Darcy Leather-faced Executive Chair:
This chair gives good support to your back when working at a desk. It is comfortable to sit on for long periods as well. The only downside is that the chair's back cannot be adjusted backwards and forwards, there is only an adjuster to tilt the whole seat forward or back.

EASY ASSEMBLY.

About Me Quality shopper
I am an occasional web surfer and spend about two hours a day in the chair overall. The Darcy is so comfortable I could easily spend longer, but I'm busy busy doing other things. That's the problem, once you're in it you don't want to get out of it. Would I recommend it to a friend? I already have. As for assembly, it took me 30 minutes from opening the box to sitting in it. Simple!
Very comfortable

Extremely comfortable sitting in front of the computer. You need four hands to affix the arms to the back rest. Took me an hour to put together and I am usually good at DIY furniture. Is heavy and safe feeling. So far more than happy with this product and would recommend.

About Me High-end Shopper, Mid-range Shopper
Bought for the "Home Office" and a move from the Value Range IKEA chair to this one. First impression was very good for the money paid. Very conformable and ergonomically designed to fit the shape of the body. This is a very comfortable chair and surely can sit long hours.Checked few at the Store before order online and the price was little cheaper online than in store. Also if you buy via a Cashback website like [@] or [@] you will get a further discount like 10% so after all that's a bargain.I wonder if the base of the chair is wide enough as I see it is quite wobbly and the wheels on the other side goes slightly up when you tilt back. Also I used to work lean towards so I find my thighs are little higher than I used to, so some times I feel bit odd with that, but hopefully with the use I may get used to it.I'm an OK person with all sort of DIY, so I had no problem putting this together. If you don't know how to tilt the chair, just pull the "hight adjustable lever" out and lean back... that's it !
Simple, easy, and brilliant product

Great product, definetly the easiest item to assemble but will need 2 people to on hand. Great quality item and worth every penny
Comfy

Used as computer/office chair at home.Dead easy to assemble (15 minutes) if you follow the instructions.Comfortable and nice-looking but not 100% sure of build quality however this is not an expensive item.It cannot be locked in a tilted position however there is just the right amount of tension so you're not fighting against the tilt.Overall I am very happy with the purchase and speed of delivery.

Pretty good
By Terry [...]
Pretty straight forward to put together and seems comfortable the first time of trying it. My only slight gripe is that it doesn't tilt back as much as I'm used to, which would have been usefull for me as I have my legs up on my desk all the time.Is niiice!

I bought this to use at home as my previous chair was a bit hard and giving me a bad back... I tried this chair in the shop and it felt more comfortable than the most expensive one on display... been using it for about a month now and it's great, my back feels better. It was really easy to put together too so not sure why people struggled? No squeaks, I love this chair!
Quality chair at a very reasonable price

Used at home when on my PC, comfortable and nice looking at a very good price.
Very comfortable chair
By JohnE

This chair is well made and very comfortable. The instructions aren't the best which leaves you to work out how the tilt mechanism works. It is also slightly fiddly to assemble, although no harder than, say, a flat-packed kitchen unit. It can certainly be assembled by one person.
Very comfy! Robust chair.

Very comfortable though a little tricky to put together on my own!

Purchased for my partner to use after a hip replacement. It is perfect for higher seating. Easy to move from room to room. Will be ideal for the office when he no longer needs it

3 arms would be advantageous when assembling, otherwise phone a friend.Once assembled it is comfortable, supports your back and is an attractive piece of furniture.
Comfort and Value
By Marie F
Bought this chair for my home office. I'm delighted with it. Very comfortable. I've had to work long hours at a time recently and have had no problems, so it really is an 'all day' chair.Excellent value for money. The chair was easy to assemble, with one word of advice - the screws to attach the seat and legs are already in the parts. You unscrew them, then attach. I thought the screws were missing and didn't discover them until I was on the phone to customer service, very nearly arranging a replacement![...]

Perfect!
By Jack H
from Bristol
Being an architecture student i am at my desk day in day out, i needed a chair not only to provide me with comfort but also support. This chair was very easy to assemble (only 1 person needed), the instructions were a little too brief as it took longer to study them. No tools needed (apart form an allen key supplied) which was a real bonus [...] The only bad side to this was the VAT added, which boosted the price to around [$] which was slightly annoying!Great seat though!
Very Happy Son!!!
By Shaz

Purchased for my Son to use at his computer/games desk. Ideal for this and he is well impressed with the look of the chair!!! Not easy pleasing teenage boys! Does take 2 to put together but I managed it with my Son no problem.
It's ok once it's built
By Happysnapper
from East Anglia
The assembly instructions were a bit un-helpful, using them as a basic guide I found myself having to work out how it went together. I am a senior person and found this chair makes me sit upright which is what I wanted and it also lowers enough to get my legs under the work station easily. I am a bit on the heavy side and would think three hours sitting would be enough before the padding becomes hard, A lighter person would probibly be able sit longer.

A load of hassle
By Fed up Buyer
from Leeds
About Me High-end Shopper
[...]. Getting it home the assembly was a major challenge as the instructions were useless and it requires two people. After sitting in the chair it then became obvious that it would not tilt. After calling in some extra help and an hours worth of hassle we sussed it out. The main control for the chair is on the right hand side and you need to be sat in it to use it hence this was totally inapropriate for me. My main concern goes out to the incompetent manufacturer as they were the ones whom packed it incorrectly and printed the instructions.

Really comfortable chair, looks good and easy to assemble (though needs two people as its a quality chair and quite heavy). Would purchase again - its not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

excellent product

Very easy to assemble by oneself. Pulls right up to desk and allows my knees into the kneehole. Good adjustment, don't need extra cushions. Price looked very good until VAT was added, but even then it was reasonable.
