I bought this chair in Jan 2012. I find it relatively comfortable and stylish for its price. In my job I work from home and I was looking for a comfortable chair when I started my new job in Jan. I was considering making an investment of up to £500 (on [...]), for a very comfortable chair, as I had bad experiences before because of my lower back problem. By chance, I dropped by into a Staples store and saw this chair. It looked good and felt comfortable. I bought this chair, to try out within 14 days return policy. On the second day I had some pain/pressure on my back, but then I removed the two rubber screw washers from the rear side underneath the seat. Since then, I have been using it regularly without any problem. It saved me lot of money. It may not be equally comfortable compare to [...], but it's comfortable and good value for money. Make sure, you do not put in the two stupid rubber screw washers when assembling it. As this will make the seat a bit high from rear side, which is not a good posture and causes backache if you lower back problem like me. Instructions should be updated to make this optional.

The chair is very easy to assemble but you may need help fitting the arms or do what I did and use a stool. Quality isn't too bad for the price and it looks good. It has a relatively small footprint which is ideal for me as I live in a small flat.

On the negative side the chair is very firm and may not be suitable for those used to a softer seat. I reckon 2 or 3 hours is the most I would be able to sit on it for.

I am going to recommend this with reservations.

We ordered 3 of these chairs for our reception and all 3 have been great, very easy to assemble, they get used from 6,30am right up until 10pm. all the staff are very pleased with these chairs. as long as you are always sitting with good posture no chair should hurt your back.
