Comments about Staples A4 Precision Trimmer:
This product looked good but after only cutting 2 sheets of paper the plastic ruler got caught in the blade and shredded. Also the line up was out by about 5mm.
A sturdy, every day use product

As stated previously - this is a suitibly sturdy product for everyday use. Cuts & trims consistantly.
not a precision cutter!
By caroline

The plastic guide on the trimmer does not cover the blade, so when you put your paper under it to cut on a line, the cutter cuts higher up than you expect making it very hard to line up! Mine has been returned!:-( its a shame because other than this it would be a good buy!

About Me Value Oriented
Construction seemed good in shop. However when I used it for the first time I found that the ruler guides were inaccurate. The top and bottom guides did not line up. The bottom ruler was 3mm short on a 55mm cut. It was not easy to square a smaller piece of paper/card.Dissapointed

Good value occasional trimmer
By miss_morph

A good trimmer which does the job.I found the cutting action quite stiff but maybe this will ease with time. The table/plate upon which the paper rests is quite small but manageable. The guide ruler seems to hold the paper nicely and the blade cuts neatly. Good value.
