- Cleartex Ultimat is a chair mat made from polycarbonate. This chair mat will protect your carpets (up to 12 mm medium pile) from damage caused by office chair castors and dirty footwear. Polycarbonate is the best material for chair mats as it won't discolour and it won't curl, bend or crack under normal use. It is very strong and long-lasting so it can be used for many years. For the office worker, it provides ergonomic benefits as your wheeled office chair will smoothly glide over the surface reducing fatigue and making it easy to move around. It is free from PVC and harmful chemicals and lies flat immediately after you place it on the floor.
