  • The Coate's Willow is a high quality charcoal made from willows which produce a soft deep black charcoal favoured by artists.
  • The Coate's Willow charcoal thin is comprised of willow charcoal grown in Southwest England. The charcoal is non-compressed and burned from rods in their raw round shape and diameter. The pack of 25 provides charcoal sticks of 2 - 4 mm in diameter. The charcoal can be used to create strikingly atmospheric impressions, initial outlines and roughs and shading. Consistently high quality charcoal grown on Somerset Levels UK which produce soft deep black charcoal. Use on its own and with paint or pastels.
