Very comfortable office chair

About Me Mid-range Shopper
Comments about Kashmir Microfibre Manager's Chair:
We bought this chair to replace another one we'd had for 20 years. We don't like leather chairs so this one fits the bill perfectly! Very comfortable and fits in well with our black desk. This chair was the most comfortable we had sat in in Staples and when it was on special offer we jumped at the chance of buying it! Service was excellent as well - arrived the very next day. Husband took about 20 minutes to assemble so no problems. Very happy with our purchase.

Being short... the seat could do with being able to be lowered a few more inches. Front to back depth is more than your average chair.Comfy and suitable for use as a chair for your home computing.

About Me Budget Shopper
Totally over the moon with this chair. I've been using cheap typist chairs all my life because I didn't think paying a lot for my chair would be of much benefit... until I began to work from home and my whole body protested, painfully, at being stuck on the typist chair for up to 20 hours a day sometimes (I have to pull crazy deadlines). So, after being bedbound for two days after a particularly intense deadline rush, I splurged on this chair and I haven't regretted it one bit. My aching has stopped, particularly in my shoulders, back and knees. This probably isn't the best chair if you want full ergonomic support, but it is dreamily comfortable, like sitting on a sofa! This works well for me. I bought it purely on reviews here saying how comfortable it is and I haven't been disappointed. The fabric is soooo soft - much nicer than leather, especially in the recent hot weather we've been having. No sticking to the chair, urgh! My cat really likes to steal the seat, which she never did with my typist chair, if that gives any idea of how much softer and comfortable this is!Assembly was very straightforward, you do need a bit of strength for it though. You also have to be careful of scratching the silver parts though as the paint covering comes off easily if scratched with the allen keys.It also came in a massive box... my cat likes this too.

Very Impressed
By JB
from Hampshire
Very impressed with this chair bought it for our daughter to use as an office / lounging chair for her bedroom, she is over the moon with it as suits both purposes very well. Did read other comments about putting together but can honestly say did this with ease with the assistance of my 13 year old. Very pleased with product and Staples very good service.

Very comfortable and easy to adjust. Bought on line after sitting in it at a Staples store. Thought back was higher on store chair than on one delivered. That is only criticism.
Fantastic chair. Shame about the quality

This is a fantastic chair. Very comfortable and reasonable easy to put together. Unfortunately, the silver bits (arms and stand) were very poorly painted, dirty and scuffed. I returned one but the second wasn't much better. [...]

Great for the home office or study
By Marcus
from Norwich
I wanted a chair that would be comfortable all day in the home office and took a trip to the nearest store to try some out. As soon as I sat in this one I knew I would not find better. It feels like sitting in a duvet! The assembly instructions are very easy to follow and are completely idiot proof. It only took me 15 minutes to put together on my own. The quality of components far exceeds any I have assembled bought on[...] and there's a solid feel when it's finished. The first one had a faulty gas lift, [...]If you want a chair that will keep you in comfort all day then this ticks all the boxes.

About Me Budget Shopper, Mid-range Shopper
I bought this chair after hearing very positive feedback from a friend, and when it arrived yesterday I was eager to assemble it. It was actually easy to assemble, but in a stroke of idiocy I assembled it backwards at first so had to redo it - totally my fault. It's ridiculously comfortable - not like any other office chairs I've used. The construction is very solid, unlike a lot of other chairs I've bought.Top marks from me - if you're looking for something a bit more comfy than a standard leather chair then this is what you want.
I love this chair, is so comfy and warm
By Daniela
from Cookham
I've been looking on internet the perfect chair for my study room and this is the best chair I found between many companies offering chairs. Maybe you will prefer the leather one but I stayed with the microfibre material coz it's so comfy and warm. I think the leather can last you more but i don't like the cold sensation when you sit down on it so that's why i went for the microfibre coz it protects my back from the cold.

Great chair - Bad back support

About Me High-end Shopper
Really comfy chair, but has bad back support, even at the top position, it still leans back quite a bit. I wouldn't recommend for long term use. For casual use, it's fine.
Great product

Comfortable seat and worth the price.Assembly was a breeze, screw-holes all lined up, instructions easy to follow and well laid out.Step by step instructions include part numbers - even down to which item-numbered screw to use.Comes with 2 allen-keys, so you need no tools.Took me about half an hour. One tip... I found it easier to align and insert the top screws in the back-piece after laying chair on it's side.
Very comfortable
By shortlegs
Within my budget, [$], this was far and away the most comfortable chair I tried and I had no hesitation in handing over my money. It is quite difficult to assemble and is best done with two people. A word of caution. The short arm of the Allen key which is supplied to tighten the bolts is too short and can cause the long arm of the key to scrape against the frame of the chair which scratches very easily. In fact the one downside of this product is that to me, and I hope I am wrong, the finish of the frame and base does not give the impression of being durable and I fear that it will quickly become tatty.
Difficult to assemble
By Basher
from East Sussex
The chair was quite tricky to assemble, mainly due to the threaded inserts not being deep enough. The inserts had also been fitted to the chair in the wrong position, which made it very uneven when assembled (the seat, arm and backrest was tilted over to one side). Shame, as the chair I tried in the shop was very comfortable. I decided not to risk another one in case of problems.[...]
Excellent product but try others first
By Careful buyer!
This is an excllent chair and we spent a long time trying others. We are glad we did because there is so much variety in comfort and suitability for body frame! [...]Assembly was most difficult - no instructions and screws were difficult to line up hence instruction that there is no liabillity for mis fitting screws!!!!!

Very comfortable and plush
By Andy
from Leeds
Tried every chair in the shop several times and always came back to this one. The immediate comfort level was just so much better than most of the other chairs. There's more "give", but not at the expense of support. The backrest is nice and wide at shoulder level (a problem with a lot of chairs that narrow higher up). The fabric covering it is super soft, but seems hardwearing at the same time.
