Comments about Sun Starter Pack Beech:
I bought this product for a small, home-based business. It is a large piece of furniture that, when fully assembled in the configuration shown in the product photograph, measures some 285cm (diagonally from the left rear corner of the small desk to the right rear corner of the large desk). This furniture is of great quality and it's very sturdy, but that comes at a price. Home assembly is lengthy (it took one person almost 7 hours to build) and the larger of the two desks is very heavy. My advice would be to ensure it is almost in position before you begin.Assembly was relatively straightforward. There was a small issue with the pedestal drawers, where the assembly instructions were a little confusing. Also, the "split" design of the side panels created a slight problem with the small desk losing its shape after the top came off before the glue had set.On that note, we decided not to glue the large desk as a) the top was heavy enough not to warrant it and b) the assembled desk is far too large to get out of the room in the event of an office move!I gave this product 4 stars rather than the full 5, because of the corner link. The design makes it incredibly difficult to install. Not only is it most definitely a two-person job, it was also virtually impossible to get both desks perfectly aligned. This has created a disappointingly jagged corner, which spoils the look of the piece. It is also worth noting that moving the fully assembled desks is also virtually impossible, as the corner link requires permanent fixing.
