To combat this, Pilot are happy to partner with TerraCycle – the world’s leader in the collection and reuse of post-consumer waste. Collecting and repurposing waste into new eco-friendly materials and products. This partnership has led to the creation of a new sustainable range of pens which contains reclaimed ocean plastic material – the B2P Ecoball. A ballpoint pen made of 86% of recycled post-consumer plastic bottles, including those which has been reclaimed from the ocean. This new initiative adds a new lsquo;R’ to Pilot’s 3-R policy (Recycling, Refilling and Reducing), with lsquo;Recuperating’ – less plastic in the oceans to reduce pollution. However, this is not the final stage of a journey initiated over 10 years ago but the start of a larger programme to act against pollution.
